Bios for photography
Chris specialises in landscapes, cityscapes, time-lapse and fine art. He has won over 100 international and national level photography and art prize awards.
His clients include private art lovers in Australia, Europe and the United States, galleries, professional office spaces and local government. He has exhibited his work in multiple galleries, including a 14 print solo exhibition at the Huw Davies Gallery, and group exhibitions in Floriade, Canberra; Banff, Canada; and a dedicated space in the Vivid National Photography Festival.
His work has been published in multiple high-end photography publications and outdoor magazines.
Chris holds an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography (2007) from Canberra Institute of Technology, and a Master of Photography (2014) from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP).
Michael has known and photographed five Australian prime ministers and has photographed many other Australian politicians as well as overseas heads of state including former UK Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Ethiopian Emperor Haley Salasy, and Prime Minister Sato of Japan.
In his early career, Michael undertook assignments for The Australian and a stable of Murdoch publications. He later shot feature assignments for The Illustrated London News, the Sunday Observer, and Life magazine, and shot high fashion for Vogue Australia while running his photographic studio in Melbourne.
Michael’s keen interest in fine art led him to gain feature assignments and portrait sittings with some of Australia’s major artists including John Percival, Mirka Mora, Louis Kahn, Clifford Last and Brett Whitley.
Michael later became an artist, painting in pastels and watercolour, which deepened his understanding or the visual medium. More recently, he has covered stage-performance assignments including Stomp the Yard, Slava’s Snowshoe and The Phantom of the Opera.
His clients include government agencies, corporations, and creative artists.
Andrew has been a professional photographer for over 10 years, having taken photos for multinational and infrastructure clients which include ACTION buses, Canberra Metro Consortium, John Holland, Downer, Alstom, and Transfield Services.
His work has been featured in annual reports, trade booth at major industry exhibitions, product promotion, training manuals and public transportation timetables and guides.
He also trained to operate Remotely Piloted Aircraft for infrastructure, transport and planning purposes, the footage and photographs are used for project updates or surveying local landscapes.
